• Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS) : Endoscopic surgical invasive procedures to treat chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, and other sinus-related issues.
• Tonsillectomy or tonsillotomy and Adenotomy : Removal of tonsils or Reduction of Tonsillar Tissue and Removal of adenoids to treat recurring infections or breathing difficulties.
• Septoplasty: Surgical correction of a deviated septum to improve breathing and reduce snoring.
• Turbinoplasty : Surgical reduction of inferior turbinate tissue using coblation.
• Thyroid and Parathyroid Problems: Expert care for thyroid and parathyroid conditions, including cancer, nodules, and hyperparathyroidism.

• Non-Surgical Treatments: Minimally invasive options such as Botox, dermal fillers, chemical peels, and laser treatments to rejuvenate the skin and reduce signs of aging.
• Cholesteatoma Problems: Diagnosis of abnormal skin growth in the middle ear that can lead to hearing loss and infections.

Audiology

Our Audiology department provides a full spectrum of hearing-related services, focusing on diagnosing and managing hearing loss and balance disorders. Our audiologists use the latest technology to offer personalized care, including:

• Hearing Assessments: Comprehensive hearing tests for adults and children, including audiometry, tympanometry, otoacoustic emissions test
• Tinnitus Management: Strategies and treatments to help manage the symptoms of tinnitus, including homeopathic therapy, counseling, acupuncture, tinnitus retraining therapy and  hearing aid use with tinnitus masker .
• Balance and Vertigo Problems : Complete Neurootologic examination including Dixx Hallpike test and Epley Maneuvre.
• Implantable Hearing Devices: Referral to Advanced hearing solutions, including bone-anchored hearing aids and middle ear implants for patients with specific types of hearing loss.

Neurotology

Neurotology is a subspecialty of ENT that deals with complex conditions affecting the inner ear, balance system, and the base of the skull. At Agios Porfirios Medical Center, our neurotology services include:

• Vestibular Disorders: Diagnosis and treatment of vertigo, dizziness, and balance disorders, including Meniere’s disease, vestibular neuritis and Benign Positional Paroxysmal Vertigo (BPPV).
• Acoustic Neuroma Problems : Prompt management of benign tumors on the nerve connecting the ear to the brain.
• Facial Nerve Disorders: Treatment of facial nerve paralysis, including Bell’s palsy and other nerve-related conditions.
